Plan Tour
Plan Description
Legacy Homes offers complete custom build & design opportunities. Below are the steps to our Custom Home Build Process:
Custom Home Plan: One of our plan design professionals will meet with you to begin drawing your new home. If you have already purchased or designed a plan, we will continue with the following steps. If you already own a homesite, care will be taken to ensure that the home you design fits properly on your homesite and that it abides by the guidelines of your community.
Financing your Custom Build: Our recommended lenders will walk you through the process of finding the right financing option for your family to ensure a painless path to homeownership.
Home Design: Once your plans are finalized, we will match you with one of our talented Design Studio Consultants. You will then have a comprehensive experience in our Design Studio, where you will choose all the options and selections for your home. Our award-winning Design Studio entails all the design options for your new home. With an abundance of selections to choose from, your new home will be distinctive to your vision. Your Designer will collaborate with you on color palettes, textures, and materials while bringing each aspect of your new home to life.
Pre-Construction Meeting: You will meet with your Legacy Homes Sales Consultant and your Legacy Homes Builder to review your home plans, placement on the homesite, and expectations for the build process.
Construction Updates: As we build your home, you will receive regular updates from your Legacy Homes Consultant about milestones. These are available virtually so you can track progress from anywhere.
New Home Orientation: One week before closing, you will meet with your Legacy Homes representative to thoroughly inspect and orient your new home. Construction will be complete, and this will be your opportunity to familiarize yourself with your new home, review all cosmetic items installed, and learn how all of your systems operate.
Final Walkthrough: On the final day before you close, we will do another lap with you to ensure all the work is completed to your satisfaction and any items noted for repair at the New Home Orientation were fixed. This is a great time to test switches and outlets or ask questions about appliances.
Closing: It’s time to fall in love with your new custom home! Our team will prepare all the paperwork for your big day and bring the keys. Make sure to bring a camera for new home smiles!
Custome Care: Get acquainted with your new home and make a list of any questions or concerns you have. Our customer care department is available to answer any questions about your warranty and help schedule appointments as needed to help you get settled.
