In its fifth annual “Best of the Best” issue, ideal-LIVING magazine has honored Legacy Homes by Bill Clark for “Best Custom Home Designs.” For this distinction, ideal-LIVING selected only a handful of builders from throughout the country who provide the best customizable home designs for 55+ buyers.  

The publication notes, “Legacy Homes by Bill Clark is best known for thoughtful floor plans, maximized living spaces, attention to detail, and custom trim work. Each home is designed to be a showstopper and the goal at Legacy Homes is to make the home building process as seamless for each client as possible.”

A special editorial committee assembled by ideal-LIVING magazine selected the honorees. “During the challenging times, we hope this special feature…offers our readers a chance to find a better quality of life in a safer environment,” said ideal-LIVING’s Editor and Associate Publisher, Kelly Godbey.

Many of the communities in which Legacy Homes builds were also honored. Compass Pointe was recognized for “Best Health & Fitness” and was among the Top 100 Planned Communities in the nation. The magazine notes that at Compass Pointe, “residents find health and fitness in mind, body, and spirit in [the] indoor pool and 7,000-square-foot wellness center.” 

Salters Haven was among the “Best New Communities,” and was also one of the Top 100 Planned Communities. Also in the Top 100, Brunswick Forest nabbed a “Best Tennis and Pickleball” commendation, noting its resident Pickleball Club has over 400 members! Furthermore, the community sits adjacent to the House of Pickleball, a year-round indoor facility.
