We are seeking a motivated New Home Sales Consultant to join our team at Legacy Homes by Bill Clark. As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will work on-site directly with Homebuyers, as an integral part of the Community Team, as you help them navigate the home-buying and home-building process, providing excellent customer service.

A Design Consultant for Bill Clark Homes is responsible for creating an exceptional and personalized design experience for each homebuyer. This role guides clients through every design decision, from structural options & final finishes to the completion of construction, ensuring their vision is translated into a cohesive, functional, and buildable home. The Design Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and project coordinator, balancing creativity, budget, and construction requirements while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
Schedule & Location: Monday-Friday, Full Time, In-Person Only
Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Client Consultation: Meet with homebuyers to understand their design needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget
• Design Guidance & Selection: Guide homebuyers through the selection process for finishes like cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, and other details, providing product education and offering design advice
• Develop & Present Design Plans: Translate client preferences into detailed design plans, potentially including sketches or renderings. Present these proposals to the clients for approvals
• Ensure Design Feasibility: Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure design selections are compatible with the home's structure and building codes
• Manage Project Elements: Monitor and manage the distribution of design paperwork and change orders for the field to accurately reflect the homeowner's selections
• Provide a Positive Customer Experience: Offer an elevated customer experience throughout the design studio appointments and the construction process.
• Stay Updated: Remain current with design trends, materials, technologies, and building codes.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with client and team members
• Must be able to manage time and workload effectively, meeting required deadlines
• Pay based on experience
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
• Experience: Previous experience in interior design, new home construction, or sales in a builder design center is desired
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programs and design selection software is preferred
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction, design options, and customer care is important
• Key Skills: Excellent communication & presentation skills, creativity & problem solving, customer service, organization & attention to detail
