Pick your location and desired home plan with support from our Legacy sales team. If you are more of a visual learner, start with a visit to one of our model homes or an available home with a New Home Consultant to bring your favorite plans off the page. If you have already purchased or designed a plan, we will continue with the following steps. If you already own a homesite, care will be taken to ensure that the home you design fits properly on your homesite and that it abides by the guidelines of your community. If you do not own a homesite, we will assist you in finding the perfect place for your home.
Our recommended lenders will walk you through the process of finding the right financing option for your family to ensure a painless path to homeownership.
Once the contract is signed, the real fun begins! We will match you with a designer to make selections for your new home from paint colors to countertops and flooring. Bring your own inspiration photos or narrow down the options with our designer.
Meet with your Legacy Homes builder representative and your builder to review your home plans, placement on the homesite, and expectations for the build process.
As we build your home, you will receive regular updates from your Legacy Homes representative about milestones in the process. These are available virtually so you can track progress from anywhere.
One week prior to closing, you will meet with your Bill Clark Homes representative to do a thorough inspection and orientation of your new home. Construction will be complete and this will be your opportunity to familiarize yourself with your new home, review all cosmetic items installed, and learn how all of your systems operate.
On the final day before you close, we will do another lap with you to ensure all the work is completed to your satisfaction and any items noted for repair at the New Home Orientation were fixed. This is a great time to test switches and outlets or ask questions about appliances.
It’s time to fall in love with your new home! Our team will get all the paperwork ready for your big day and bring the keys. Make sure to bring a camera for new home smiles!
Get acquainted with your new home and make a list of any questions or concerns you have. Our customer care department is available to answer any questions about your warranty and help schedule appointments as needed to help you get settled.
